This video is for Tribal leaders and program managers new to emergency preparedness. It is applicable for all Tribal settings including, but not limited to, Rancherias, reservations (580 federally recognized Tribes), and cities.

20:49 minutes – This video is meant to assist Tribal leaders in gaining a greater understanding of their role in emergency preparedness and the available resources. It explores some of the issues that arise during an emergency incident as well as all-hazard planning, interoperability, and using the unified command center. It also details the essential working relationships that federally recognized Tribal governments should establish with federal, state, and local governments to ensure assistance after an emergency or a disaster.

Digital storytelling gives anyone the chance to share part of their story. By combining the art of storytelling with digital elements (such as video, music, and photos), people can tell a life story to viewers like you.

4:50 minutes – Rosebud immersed herself in a new field as a Maternal Infant Outreach Worker. She explains how this career change helped her to heal, thrive, and reconnect with her community and culture.
